10oz Gloves used from the Light Flyweight (49 kg) category to Light Welterweight (64 kg) category.
The official boxing competition glove of 3 Olympic Games. During the Games in 1992 at Barcelona, in 1996 at Atlanta and again at the 2000 Sydney Olympics ...
TOP TEN gloves were used exclusively in all boxing competitions. The special padding in all TOP TEN gloves is made of the BAYFILL® material. All TOP TEN gloves are covered with topquality genuine leather. Since the introduction of TOP TEN boxing gloves and the mandatory use of head guards to all AIBA, Olympic, World and other international boxing competitions, the knockout ratio has been reduced to under 1%. The extra volume in the padding not only protects the fighter while being hit, but it also provides extra protection for the hands and wrists of the puncher, as well.
The heart of the TOP TEN gloves has been revised in collaboration with athletes from various fields of martial arts. The consistency, the well-known Bayfill padding has been curved even more and the thumb area has been changed.
The new shape allows a more comfortable fit and a simple set up for the fist.
At the beginning, there was an idea…to develop a revolutionary type of protective equipment for contact fighting sports, an equipment that would be much safer, more durable and more hygienic than any fighting sport product made in the world. For years, fighting sports pioneer Georg F. Brückner worked together with top experts from the fields of sports, medicine and engineering to develop the one and only concept. After years of research and development, the result was the now worldwide known »TOP TEN Safety Equipment«.
It’s a high-performance equipment for boxing and martial art contact sports. The equipment is made of a patented, special highly elastic foam rubber, which not only absorbs more shock: The material is extremly hygienic and virtually indestructible as well. TOP TEN protective equipment has become so successful that (since its introduction to the boxing sport) it has been the official boxing equipment of the Olympic Games.
